The Platinum Pharmatech coating pan is designed for tablet and pellet coatings. The rotational speed, angle of inclination of pan, volume and temperature are evaluated and developed with recently developed coating methods. The shape of the bowl is designed that it achieves improved cascade times and the tablet travels along an identical path. This design helps in self mixing and the coating tablets to have geometric uniformity.
